Lead, coach, train and manage planning personnel in the daily activities of Maintenance and Production Planning
Assists in the training of Material Planners with the Procurement group
Manage and coordinate planned maintenance activites to be performed by in-house Line and Base personnel and outside contract agencies
Uses resource based planning for all Base and Line maintenance work
Reviews and keeps current training requirements for all positions within Maintenance Planning to include compliance with recurrency requirements
Develop, monitor, publish and revise daily, weekly and monthly maintenance forecasts. Develop a long range planning report (5 year plan) on fleet heavy maintenance requirements
Develop, manage, monitor, action and publish Maintenance Planning and Base / Line Maintenance production metrics for continuous improvement and works with Maintenance Planning Analyst to identify opportunities for improvement
Develop continuous improvement initatives to include 360 degree accountability loops
Chairs pre induction meetings for all HMV events
Manage all maintenance activities including, but not limited to, scheduled checks, technical directives, component changes, reinspection of Required Inspection Items (RII) and carry over items, AD and SB compliance, etc. Ensure that all tooling, parts and manpower are available for all planned events.
Determine requirements for taking aircraft out of service and publishes daily report. Coordinate requirements with Schedule Planning, Line and Base Maintenance, Maintenance Control and Dispatch.
Review the aircraft tracking document to ensure maintenance is accomplished and records are updated in a timely manner.
Maintains consistent and documented communications with the team and individuals

7 years of direct aircraft maintenance experience in line or base maintenance, maintenance planning, and or maintenance programs
3 years experience in a supervisory position in related field
Obtain AOA credentials
Demonstrate the ability to effectively manage people including the effective use of goalsetting, performance development management and documentation
Show the ability to multi-task under pressure while maintaining deadlines
