  1. Qualifications:
    1. Experience in airline policies, procedures and standards.
    2. Part 121 Flight Operations training knowledge.
    3. Interpersonal and communication skills.
    4. Prior AQP knowledge and experience (preferred).
  2. Responsibilities:
    1. Advanced Qualification Program (AQP) planning, development and management at PenAir including the revision of all coursework to include lesson plans, training curriculums, and supporting material for the program.
    2. Develop manuals and publications for AQP.
    3. Maintain Flight Operations Advanced Qualification Program training course materials and implement AQP training programs for all Instructors and Check Airmen.
    4. Maintain open communications with other departments.
    5. Develop and maintain all AQP data collections devices including form creation.
    6. Coordinate with the Safety Department to evaluate trends seen within ASAP and LOSA.  This information will be adopted into the AQP program to give training a system safety approach.
    7. Liaison with the Federal Aviation Administration national and local offices when necessary.
    8. Assist in the conduct of Check Airman development and standardization courses within AQP.
  3. Familiarization and training in Safety Management, including:  Policy and attributes, Hazard Identification Risk Analysis and Mitigation, Safety Assurance and Corrective Action, and Safety Promotion.  Safety Management functions including:
    1. Hazard Identification
    2. Ensuring the effectiveness of risk controls
    3. Analysis of data
    4. Safety risk acceptance
    5. Safety promotion

Any other reasonable duties as assigned.
