Description
  • Manage and oversee a team responsible for implementation of fares and tariff management for Hawaiian Airlines online and offline network
  • In conjunction with Director(s) and other leaders in organization, execute coding of Pricing/Revenue Management strategies that maximize network revenue
  • Innovate new filing solutions to optimize revenue and efficiencies while minimizing filing costs
  • Lead monitoring and reporting of filing requests and performance against internal service level agreements
  • Address core issues facing pricing and implementation teams, finding solutions to these areas and communicating results to Senior Management
  • Keep informed of latest airline industry trends and developments in relation to pricing and tariff management, advising colleagues of potential effects and impacts to Hawaiian
  • Represent Hawaiian in airline industry settings for all pricing and tariff management matters
  • Participate in cross-functional projects/analyses within Revenue Management teams and commercial departments
  • Ensure accuracy of all pricing filing requests, assisting colleagues as needed
  • Lead, develop, mentor and evaluate team members
  • Travel may be required on an as-needed basis
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Business, related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Six or more years of professional experience in the airline industry, preferably with direct experience in pricing coding implementation
  • In-depth knowledge of ATPCO and all aspects of fare filing, including published/private, ancillary, fees and optional services
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate in a complex, deadline-driven environment
  • Familiarity in airline revenue management, particularly with pricing concepts
  • Experience and knowledge of multiple GDS systems (Sabre GDS experience a plus)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and be able to work professionally with and influence employees of all levels
  • Strong, demonstrated problem solving skills involving both business problems and people interactions
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to communicate information accurately, clearly, professionally and concisely
  • Strong initiative and willingness to take on additional leadership responsibilities
  • Graduate degree in quantitative / analytical discipline preferred
  • Advanced knowledge of industry technologies (GDSs, Pricing/Revenue Management systems, analytical software) preferred
