This position is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, and controls of SAP HR Payroll and Time systems. The individual in this position will have management oversight over the current SAP HR Payroll and Time Management systems. This person would operate as a Hands-on Leader involved with planning, development, testing, implementation, customer reporting, and SAP HR Payroll systems support. This role is responsible for both strategic planning and tactical execution of SAP Payroll and Time Management configuration tasks. This role will incorporate hands-on responsibilities (a doer) and leading projects (collaborating with and leading others) in the SAP Payroll and Time Management modules.

Leads SAP HR Payroll and TM systems projects, including the continuous improvement of the SAP HCM system, as well as the identification, selection and implementation of new systems or integrations; serves as the internal lead for new solution implementations or enhancements.
Designs, implements and deploys SAP HR Payroll and TM solutions to achieve defined business goals.
Maintains skills in SAP HR Payroll and TM applications process design and configuration, development, integration, testing and deployment.
Identifies, assesses and solves complex business problems for area of responsibility, where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
Closely follows the strategic direction set by HR COE leadership when establishing near term goals.
Interacts with stakeholders from HR Operations on matters where they may need to gain acceptance on an alternate approach. Acts independently to determine methods and procedures on new assignments.
Manages small - medium sized teams and/or work efforts (for individual contributor functions).
Oversees system change activities, as requested by HR Operations, for SAP Payroll and TM systems. Ensure that the systems are working smoothly
Works with stakeholders in IT and HR Operations to ensure issues are resolved in a timely manner.
Works with HR PMO to translate business requirements into concrete, specific projects, including defining goals, determining needs, preparing the business case, and prioritizing technically feasible solutions.
Provide continued communications across the team and to HR COE leadership on the status of deployments and enhancements.
Work with HR SAP COE teams and vendors to advocate for and implement new product features, changes and other transformational activities that meet our needs.
Focusing on usability and customer needs, support and enhance our user experience and usability of our SAP HR Payroll and TM systems.

Bachelor's degree or 5 years equivalent work experience in a related HR field/business required. Five years of experience in an HR discipline preferred with subject matter expertise in one or more business function / area, e.g. employee self-service (ESS), manager self-service (MSS), hiring & onboarding, performance management, and learning management.
Experience with end-to-end employee life-cycle, HR systems and associated requirements preferred.
Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with teams; handle multiple tasks; demonstrate business acumen and subject matter expertise while meeting aggressive timelines with minimal supervision.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to produce analyses and reports independently.
Problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skills are required.
Experience with SAP/SuccessFactors (SAP/SF) functionality related to one or more specified business unit/area preferred.
Must possess strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills and have the ability to interact with all levels within the organization and across all divisions
HR SAP implementation and/or configuration experience highly desired.
Project Management experience and requirement gathering skills preferred.
Experience with third party vendor management, change requests and contracts.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, PowerPoint and Excel; experience with software applications related to the specified business function/area.
Must be willing to work a flexible schedule to accommodate project deadlines.
