Will directly supervise entry-level or semi-skilled hourly employees such as production ( assembly, machine operations ), craft ( electricians, carpenters,

mechanics ) and clerical ( data entry, material tracking ) workers. May have

exempt level employees reporting to them. Will direct the daily operations of

the work unit. Assignments are largely established in accordance with schedules and deliverables. Work is reviewed for accuracy and completeness.

A strong background working with Bell 206/TH-57 alignment fixture requirements is desired.

Qualifications

* Bachelors Degree with five (5) years of relevant TH-57 experience and six (6) years management experience or an equivalent amount of education and experience.

* Must be able to demonstrate experience with ERP transaction system preferably SAP.

* Must have knowledge of FAA 145 Requirements.

* Strong attention to detail and highly proficient with Microsoft Office products.

* Strong leadership skills and willingness to embrace change.

* Experience building, leading and mentoring a high performance team.

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

* Effectively interfaces with a wide range of customers, government and industry leaders.

* Must be able to work overtime, weekends, and any shift as needed.

Physical Requirements: Primarily manufacturing/assembly environment. Must be able to work in the following environmental conditions: noise, vibration, proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current. Must be able to bend and reach. Must have close visual acuity such as viewing a computer terminal, extensive reading, visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation of machines, and/or assembly or fabrication parts at close distance to the eyes. Must be able to communicate effectively. Must be able to maneuver up to 50 pounds. Will be performing substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
