Job Description

Seeking a Mechanical Technical Designer supporting the

 

Responsibilities will be to create and/or maintain aircraft technical data packages to include 2D drawings and parts lists as well as 3D models. 

Defines or revises fundamental engineering product definition. Verifies accuracy of engineering data. Gathers relevant data for root cause analysis. Produces changes to resolve discrepancies in design packages.

Qualifications 

This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.

 

 

TYPICAL EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

AA degree in related discipline.

 

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED):

  • Basic computer skills
  • Computer Aided Design (CAD) experience, data entry, familiarity with mechanical detail, assembly and installation drawings, geometric dimensioning and tolerances

 

 

DESIRED EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • USAF C-130/CV-22 experience a plus
  • prior military experience a plus
  • Mechanical design experience, familiarity with aircraft technical data packages, CMPRO experience a plus
