Job Description

American Airlines Federal Credit Union has an opening for a full-time Member Services Representative in the Payments Servicing Department at its headquarters located in Ft. Worth, Texas.

Daily job duties include providing exemplary service to members and credit union employees via an ACD line regarding Payments products such as ATM Cards, Visa Check Cards, Credit Cards, Shared Branch Network transactions, ACH Inquiries, Checking Products and payments disputes. Also, completes processing of daily reports and Payments-related service events including, balance transfers, payments, return payments, application rejections, authorized user requests, credit limit increase/decrease requests, returned plastics, returned statements, monetary adjustments, card orders/reissuance, and account closings. Completes other duties assigned.

The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring the security and confidentiality of all account and related information which is part of their work and for ensuring that his/her work is in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations including, but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act. 

Job level to be determined based upon qualifications and experience of the selected candidates.

Job Qualifications

·         High School diploma or GED required

·         Previous banking or credit union experience preferred

·         Must be able to read, write, fluently speak and understand the English language

·         Spanish speakers preferred, but not required

·         Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and previous customer service experience  are required

·         Must have attention to detail and excellent organizational skills

·         Must be able to work under deadlines and high volume pressure with little supervision

·         Computer experience including Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint preferred

·         Satisfactory performance and attendance record required

·         Candidates will be required to pass applicable American Airlines pre-hire compliance checks

·         Candidates must have an acceptable credit history, which will be verified (e.g., no past due accounts, charge-offs, collection items or bankruptcies)
