Position Description

Work with and advise manufacturing personnel on performing general metal processing including melting, alloying, casting rolling, and stamping of high purity metals
Performs analytical laboratory testing including: ICP SEM/EDX, IGA, DSC, and hardness testing
Develop ICP methods
Perform maintenance on instruments
Maintain inventory levels of consumables for the lab
Support Sales and Marketing
Interact with Customers on technical matters

Position Requirements

Proficiency in analyzing data
BS or MS metallurgy or material science preferred
Chemical lab experience
Knowledge of chemical hazards and safety precautions
Experience working with high purity metals
Knowledge of ISO 9000
Demonstrated advanced skills with MS office software
