Major Duties

MILITARY – PRIME & ENGINES BUSINESS TEAM LEADER Req 8443
Work Location: Irvine, CA

SUMMARY
Broad responsibility and leadership for a division customer focused business team. Responsibilities include business financial performance (e.g. profit and loss, asset management), strategic planning, forecasting, and performance of division programs. Serves as primary customer contact on program status and performance. Consults with current and prospective customers and develops strategic objectives for new or projected products and markets. Provides leadership to other team leaders and professional staff.

Key Job Attributes:
1. Provide leadership through establishing Prime & Engine Business vision, goals, feedback and support to business team objectives
2. Owns overall Prime & Engine Military customer relationships through contract, customer service and product performance fulfilment as measured through customer scorecards
3. Support the execution of identified PI&R opportunities
4. Negotiation customer contracts & long term agreements for all Military Prime & Engine aftermarket products & services
5. Responsible to lead Military Prime & Engine Sales & DNE forecast activities

QUALIFICATIONS
• 10 or more years of major professional accomplishments and 7 or more years of increased leadership with projects and teams of considerable size, scope and complexity. Demonstrated ability to perform the described role and responsibilities and obtain the desired results.
• Knowledge of business development and program management functions that would typically be obtained through a Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business discipline and progressive career experience. An M.B.A is preferable.
• Working directly with customers to demonstrated customer responsiveness, proficiency in product and manufacturing technology and systems integration, and experience in multiple organizational roles in the industry.
• Demonstrated teamwork and team building skills in producing results and meeting organizational objectives. Capable of assessing and developing individual team skills and capabilities. Able to create and maintain enthusiasm for new and challenging goals. Serves as a role model by promoting new ideas and positive change.
• Highly effective in facilitating group dynamics across various audiences and work groups. Persuasive presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Extensive understanding of business systems, financial plans and controls, contractual terms and regulatory requirements.
