As a Network Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work with industry leaders in the cyber intelligence community providing support as it relates to our client’s mission objectives. This position is a challenging role in a multi-contractor team supporting a fast moving program for the customer and their project issues of today, while at the same time focusing and preparing for the challenges of tomorrow.  Boeing Intelligence & Analytics is committed to providing the most advanced solutions and protection for our customers against the various, and unpredictable forms of cyber warfare.

REQUIRES TS/SCI with POLY

Description:

This Network Engineer duties include:

  • Leading others to identify, evaluate and document complex computing system requirements.
  • Leading activities to architect, design, build and test delivery systems and components.
  • Providing technical leadership to evaluate product usability, affordability, functionality, security and performance to assess suitability for integration into delivery system environments.
  • Providing technical support and consultation for the implementation and usage of complex delivery systems

Required Experience: 

  • 7+ years experience as a Network Engineer or System and Design Integration Specialist  
  • CCNA or CCDP certification 
  • 7+ years Intelligence Community OR Military supporting intelligence collection operations
  • Understanding of Cisco network devices and cable plants, network fundamentals, LAN / WAN technologies, the ISO layer model, TCP/IP, and data communications systems and protocols.
  • Expert knowledge in switching, routing, and firewalls. 
  • Experience with packet capture tools and traffic analysis.  
  • Working knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems; Cisco Prime and Network Analysis Module; and scripting. 
  • Experience in complex troubleshooting and building technical solutions. 
  • Experience in IT operations, servers, storage, networks, systems management, discrepancy report (DR), and Business recovery practices. 
  • Experience in management of production networks in an operations environment.
  • Establishing a track record of reliability and trust with team members and security stakeholders is essential.
