Description
Security and Engineering Programs (SEP) is seeking a Senior Network Engineer for the Center for Information Systems Services (CISS) program. The candidate will primarily work on a team responsible for analyzing, designing, installing, configuring, maintaining, and repairing our classified network, mobile device network infrastructure, and application components. Works as part of a team to provide network and mobile device support on multiple Department of Defense (DoD) networks and enclaves. Performs regular hardware and software updates, and provides troubleshooting and technical support services for Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, Windows, Android, and/or iOS devices. Maintains and supports mobile application updates and installation. Maintains and utilizes build guides to support standards for network equipment. Understands, complies with, and implements technologies in accordance with IA standards, such as: NSA's Mobile Access Capability Package and Commercial Solutions for Classified Programs. Provides systems support as required in additional areas such as databases, app servers, network access, mobile devices, Active Directory, DNS, Certificate Servers, System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), Archives/Backups, virtualization, Information Security, virus protection, storage solutions, and COOP. Once the mobile solution is in place and stable, the candidate will be the "tip of the spear" for troubleshooting, maintenance, analysis, and configuration of said solution.

All work performed at the customer's site will be documented on the customer provided ServiceNOW system. All tasks will be conducted on an as-needed/as-required basis. This position will initially be very mobile centric while we implement our Mobility Solution. Once the solution is in place, this will be a 70% Network Engineer position and 30% mobile solution maintenance position.

Skill/Experience/Education
Mandatory:
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 9 years of professional experience; or 7 years of professional experience with a related Master's degree.

Desired:
Experience with managing and troubleshooting Certificate Authority servers in a mobile environment. Working knowledge of mobile device security to advise and assist in the approval and deployment process. Understands, complies with, and implements technologies in accordance with IA standards such as: NSA's Mobile Access Capability Package, and Commercial Solutions for Classified Programs. VPN experience in mobile devices. Mobile device security experience in one or more of the following products: Swanstrong, Knox, CellWe. Network Certifications such as: CCNA, Network+, CCNP. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
