Role Summary:
Perform inspections to Customer requirements and technical procedures. Perform evaluation of test results and provide acceptance/rejection. Role has potential lump sum to assist with relocation.

Essential Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with Level 3 in the creation of technique sheets
• Maintenance of equipment and calibration
• Control of Safety related equipment
• Comply with all safety and PPE requirements
• Ability to work flexible shifts to support production

Qualifications/Requirements:
• Current certifications to NAS 410 Level 2 Ultrasonic and Penetrant Inspection
• Contact Ultrasonic scanning
• Automated Ultrasonic Scanning Systems
• Composites structure evaluation
• Penetrant Type 1
• Candidate to successfully pass internal examination within 45 days
• Minimum of 2 years of experience
• Participate in mandatory FAA Drug Test program
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• HS diploma / GED equivalent

Desired Characteristics:
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to interface effectively with all levels within the company as well as organizations outside GE (regulatory agencies)
