Position Summary:  Responsible for maintaining communication with Dispatch, Maintenance Control, Gate and Ramp personnel. Tracks and plots aircraft parking.   

 

Areas of Accountability/Essential Functions:

  • Maintains communication of departure and arrival information to crew
  • Tracks flight information and calls aircraft into range for ramp and gates
  • Maintains communication with Dispatch regarding aircraft routing and swaps
  • Ensures aircraft release records are accurate and arrive prior to departure time
  • Problem-solves aircraft parking issues and relays information to ramp agentsQualifications/Requirements:

Knowledge/Skill/Ability:

 

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Ability to multitask
  • Ability to develop strong relationships with customer service and flight operations staff
  • Ability to handle and resolve conflict and problems as they arise
  • Ability to work independently and as a team
  • Ability to communicate in a professional manner
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of security-sensitive information
  • Ability to complete all job functions and assignments with little or no direct supervision
  • Strong knowledge of company policy and standard operating procedures
  • Proficiency in use of reservation systems used by Great Lakes Airlines 

Education/Training/Experience:

 

  • Previous customer service and/or ramp experience preferred
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:

 

  • Frequent sitting, writing, typing, filing, use of standard office equipment.
  • Occasional standing, reaching, , kneeling/crouching,
  • Office environment; quiet to moderate noise level

 

Other Requirements:

  • Minimum 6 months experience with Great Lakes Airlines
  • GSC Trained
