Position Description

Responsible for planning, directing, and controlling the manufacturing operations.



Position Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS/POSITION REQUIREMENTS
The qualifications/position requirements identified below list the skill level, ability, and knowledge required to successfully perform the essential duties of the position. Reasonable accommodations may be made to allow individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the position.

Must have 4-year degree with a minimum of 10 years of managerial or executive experience in manufacturing.
- Proven experience in lean manufacturing processes (Six Sigma, continuous improvement, cellular manufacturing or other relevant manufacturing discipline) and supply chain management.
- Proven leadership with excellent communication skills.
- Prefer experience in tubing manufacturing industry with knowledge of fabrication equipment, welding, scheduling and logistics.
- Must be proficient in standard computer applications, and preferably EMS or other integrated manufacturing software.
- Strong and effective written and verbal communication skills are essential to the position.
- Must be able to interact with all levels of management, including working with the executives with strategy and planning.
- Able to comprehend, analyze, and interpret general business and production reports, financial statements, and professional journals.
- Able to write reports, business correspondence, and production procedures.
- Able to effective present information and respond to questions from senior management, employees, etc.
- Capable of functioning under stressful situations.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Able to prioritize work in order to meet professional objectives and goals.
- Constant interaction with employees at all levels and departments.
– Contact w/ corp. representatives & legal counsel.
– Functions independently under the direction of the Plant Manager
– Manages and directs the work of Manufacturing, Production Planning and Scheduling, Inventory Control,
