KBRwyle is seeking a part time Senior Aircrew (Flight Engineer) to perform primary C-130 responsibilities include but are not limited to: Aircraft Pre-flight/Post-flight, weight and balance, aircraft checklist management, normal and emergency procedures, fueling, ground/ inflight fuel management, functional check flight requirements, discrepancy reporting. Maintain an APU Operator certification. Complete a Naval Air Training and Operating Procedure Standards (NATOPS) open and closed test, NATOPS check ride, and egress training. Each requires annual recurrency. Complete NATOPS ground and flight Crew Resource Management training with an annual recurrency requirement. This position supports NASA. The qualified candidate will perform the duties of a C/KC-130 flight engineer. Up to 20% travel is required.

Education/Experience: A high school diploma with a minimum of twelve (12) years of experience is required. Candidate should have completed Naval Aviation Survival Training Program (NASTP) training for class 2 aircraft (i.e., C-130). Applicants must be Navy Aeromedical standard service group 1 or FAA CFR Part 67 Second-Class Airman Medical certified. FAA Flight Engineer certification is required. Functional Check Flight qualification is required. Prior designation as a C/KC-130 Flight Engineer Instructor is required. Candidate should have a minimum of 6,000 hours of flying time; 5,000 of which must be in the C/KC-130 aircraft, and 1000 hours of experience as an instructor flight engineer in the aircraft or flight simulator. Prior or current GSE certifications are desired.

The position will allow various combinations of education and experience using a 1 year of education for 1 year of experience substitution.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of DOD rules and regulations governing aircraft operations is required. Knowledge of the C/KC-130 NATOPS manual is required. The ability to work with integrated test teams comprised of military, civilian and contractor personnel is required. The ability to communicate verbally and in writing is required. Proficiency with Microsoft Office products is required.

Applicant selected may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
