The Pilot Recruiter plays a key role in creating a qualified pool of pilot candidates, in advance of need, to fill vacancies and is responsible to attract the most qualified individual.
Responsible to recruit prospective pilots through interviewing, answering benefits questions, and hiring in accordance with policies established by management. Dealing with all types of people is an important part of the job.
Process Pilot Candidates on Airline Apps
Coordinate and Schedule qualified applicants with Flight Operations for Interviews
Facilitate Interviews with Flight Operations
Check emails while away from the office to assist New Hire Pilots with issues
Send out Applications and Study Material to interviewees
Book travel to St. Louis for interviews and to ATP/CTP Course
On the day of the interviews meet and greet, conduct interview with line pilot, review and organize required documentation and candidate return travel.
Keep a class log and maintain all pilot paperwork for new-hire orientation
Continue to make contacts with local hotels to assist new-hires with housing for their training needs
Represent the Company at pilot recruitment events in coordination with Flight Operations
(Responsible for ordering promotional items as well as shipping them to the venue)
Travel when required and at certain times travel may be extensive.
Coordinate and Facilitate New Hire Welcome Reception Dinner as required.
Maintain liasons with industry contacts and Flight Schools
Maintain pilot databases and provide daily, weekly and monthly hiring reports to Recruiting Manager
