Division: Customer Service

Sector: Service Center

Posting Start Date: 2017-12-21

Organization Profile: Pratt & Whitney Canada is one of the world’s leaders in the design, manufacture and service of aircraft engines powering commercial and regional airplanes, as well as general aviation aircraft and helicopters. Our strong reputation for highly skilled personnel (10,000 employees across the globe), our reliable engines and our exceptional aftermarket support service network attract customers from all over the world (over 190 countries).

General responsibilities of the position: In a manufacturing environment at the cutting edge of technology, candidates will be required to:

• Prepare the parts by cleaning and degreasing the designated surfaces using appropriate tools to eliminate all contaminants
• Analyze and improvise masking techniques such as wax, adhesive or lead tape, rubber or other fixtures as required

• Prepare or help in preparing chemical solutions, the taking of samples and the draining of basins, as required
• Adjust and operate robotic equipment. Select the right programs to strip or clean the various coatings used on the parts. Potentially make changes to certain parameters such as pressure, distance and robot movements and/or positioning
