Job Summary

Top candidates will have prior recent experience with USSTRATCOM, OPNAV N2/N6, and PMA-271programs. Familiarity with NC3 plans and requirements offices at U.S. Air Force Global Strike Command is also highly desired. Understanding of the missions of the E-6B platform, notably TACAMO and ABNCP, is required. A detailed understanding of all nuclear command and control airborne and support assets is desired. Understanding of Very Low Frequency (VLF) and Low Frequency (LF) Communication systems, Mobile Consolidated Command Center (MCCC) systems, and National Leadership Command Capability (NLCC) communications systems is desired. Must possess a TOP SECRET U.S. DoD clearance. Us Citizenship required.

Job Responsibilities

The Principal Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying, qualifying, developing and capturing new business initiatives in the NC3 markets. The Business Development Manager will serve as a leader on the capture team during all capture activities including, opportunity identification, opportunity qualification, competitive positioning, price to win development, opportunity strategy development and proposal development. Daily activities will include customer relationship building, building and executing contact plans, advising the organization on NC3 CONOPS, working as part of a team with program management and engineering to develop solutions to highly complex customer problems, developing pursuit strategies and overall NC3 account strategies, and providing accurate and timely orders forecasting. The Principal Business Development Manager will also be responsible to shape customer requirements, identify the customer’s most important requirements, and to provide price to win and competitive assessment for relevant pursuits.

Other activities will include: supporting the business with accurate market, customer and competitive information in the NC3 AOR and serving as prime consultant and internal and external spokesperson for the organization on highly significant matters relating to policies, programs, capabilities, and long-range goals and objectives relating to NC3 platforms. The position will also be responsible for cultivating relationships with industry partners and recommending alliances, teaming relationships and acquisitions.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in appropriate discipline or in the absence of a degree six years of related experience.

Must have active US DoD Top Secret Security Clearance.

US Citizenship required.

Understanding of the missions of the E-6B platform, notablyTACAMO and ABNCP, is required.
