Ensure proper distribution and behavior of all Frontier fare products.  Perform coding in host reservation system and fares clearing house to achieve desired fare functionality.  Lead communication between Pricing, Yield Management, Sales, Distribution, E-Commerce, Marketing and Corporate Communications with respect to fare filings, promotions and contracts.  Serve as expert for all pricing and fares management systems employed by Pricing team

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Create fare rule filings to support revenue strategies as developed by Pricing and Yield Management
  • Competitively monitor fare rule changes of other carriers and provide context as to how they affect Frontier
  • Ensure that fares are pricing correctly in each distribution channel
  • Problem-solve reported pricing issues (.com, res, GDS, OTA)
  • Ensure ATPCO and host reservation system fare and rule filings are in sync
  • File and maintain specialty fares, including group, government, loyalty and nonrevenue
  • Initiate sales and promotions; provide Marketing team with terms and conditions
  • Serve as point of contact for host reservation system and GDS pricing functionality, testing, etc.
  • Assist Strategic Pricing Analysts with fare filings and market management as-needed
  • Look for ways to improve use of pricing and analysis tools
  • Assist in training new team members

 

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, with major in Economics, Engineering, Finance, Mathematics or Statistics preferred; combination of relevant education and experience considered in lieu of degree
  • Advanced degree helpful
  • Up to 2 years of experience within the areas of airline Pricing, Tariffs, and/or Yield Management preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Refined interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail-oriented and highly motivated
  • Familiarity with major GDS shopping/pricing commands preferred
  • Willingness to take comprehensive ownership of tasks and see them through from beginning to end with minimal leadership supervision
  • Capacity to multitask and prioritize among several responsibilities
  • Ability to follow directions and work within tight time constraints and deadlines
  • Sound judgment and ability to maintain composure under pressure
  • Active listening skills with a willingness to teach and provide constructive feedback
  • Capability of handling confidential material with discretion
