We are currently searching for a Principal Manager of Program Managers to join our team in Irvine, CA (1750). A comprehensive relocation package is available for qualified candidates. Job Responsibilities

Some of the responsibilities of this role, and their team, include:

Owner of the profit & loss for $200M flight controls production programs portfolio, including software, electronic, and mechanical flight control systems.

*

Leading Program Managers to consistently satisfy customers with quality products delivered on time, proactively identifying product problems and solutions while maintaining strong focus on continual improvements in profitability and efficiency.

*

Work closely with shared services leadership to ensure continuous improvements in cross-functional team collaboration and performance.

*

Workforce planning and organizational development initiatives: Talent Management; Performance Management; Change Management; Training

*

Involved in the annual strategic and operational planning activities.

*

May be involved in the proposal of new business activities.

*

This person’s team is responsible for the cost, technical performance, and customer satisfaction for all FCS products in production; they serve as key customer contacts, leading discussions with customers on all production-related technical and business issues and on incremental developments for existing products

Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in appropriate discipline or in the absence of a degree six years of related experience; A Masters in Business Administration is preferred. Operations experience is preferred. Experience in aerospace or other safety critical industry is preferred. The skills and experience outlined above.
