  • Develops statistical models and simulations to better understand and improve operations and aircraft performance
  • Consults with customer service and other departments in developing policies and procedures relative to operational efficiency, aircraft load planning, and fuel conservation
  • Develops and produces reporting systems and programs for operations performance measures and creates automation of regular reports
  • Prepares and presents repetitive weekly, monthly as well as “special” reports as requested for various levels of management
  • Collects data through database queries and performs root cause analysis to investigate and explain operations performance issues
  • Establishes and monitors reporting processes for self-service application penetration and transaction statistics, creates reports and supports management in the effort to drive usage improvement initiatives
  • Data-driven project work to support operations analysis on various topics
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Statistics, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research or equivalent discipline
  • Mastery of analytical tools including Excel spreadsheet modeling, Access, and data mining
  • Proven analytical problem solving skills and attention to detail and follow-through
  • Ability to work under pressure while handling multiple projects simultaneously
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented team player with strong organizational skills
  • Demonstrated ability to create technical reports and impactful presentations
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree and/or MBA
  • Experience in airline or aviation operations
  • Experience in load planning, ramp operations, and/or engineering
