The Boeing Company is seeking a Procurement Agent to support the team in Boeing South Carolina.

The Procurement Agent:
Performs continuous review and analysis of demand and supply.
Prepares and executes proprietary information agreements.
Supports sourcing strategies, negotiations and documenting of contracts and agreements.
Communicates performance expectations and metrics to evaluate and monitor supplier performance.
Applies change and planning decisions to arrive at optimal solutions.
Applies Supply Chain Management (SCM) methodologies to ensure coordination in the supply chain.
Incorporates Bills of Material (BOM) and schedules into a production plan.
Coordinates part number attributes.
Verifies the released engineering BOM has been correctly implemented in the material planning system.
Releases and maintains orders.
Documents and resolves order delinquencies.
Reports schedule adherence issues.
Applies developed solutions to inventory plans.
Analyzes and dispositions excess and obsolete inventories.
Creates schedules for products and services.
Coordinates and supports process improvements.
Coordinates and documents internal and external customer requirements.
Identifies sources of supply/demand variation.
Monitors schedules and adjusts inventory balances.
Identifies problems and maintains priorities for work in process.
Communicates across functions to report risks and issues.
Conducts source selections, negotiates and documents purchase contracts and binding agreements within procurement commitment authority.
Administers contract/contract changes.
Enforces contract terms and conditions.
Participates in the new business acquisition process. Assists in conducting bidder conferences.
Gather performance data to monitor supplier capability, capacity and business health.
Participates in supplier performance reviews and cross functional improvement teams.
Participates in root cause analysis and development of improvement plans and monitors progress.
Maintains relationships and communications with internal and external stakeholders and suppliers.
Ensures import and export requirements are met.
Identifies and reports suspect problems.

Qualifications

Required Skills:
Procurement / Supply Chain experience.
Work experience using Microsoft Office (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
Willing to work any shift, weekends, and overtime as required.

Desired Skills:
Experience working in a customer service environment.
Experience working with Non Flyaway Materials (i.e. Tools, Hazmat, Consumables).

Work Authorization:
This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Relocation:
This position is located in North Charleston, South Carolina and does not offer relocation assistance. If you do not currently reside in or near this location, you must be willing to relocate at your own expense.

Typical Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree and typically 3 or more years' related work experience, a Master's degree and typically 1 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
