This position supports the Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) Supplier Management Commodities and Services team in Huntsville, AL.
Supports sourcing strategies, negotiations and documenting of contracts.
Communicates performance expectations and metrics to evaluate and monitor supplier performance.
Updates Supply Chain Analysis and Reporting System (SCARS) & Supplier Delivery Follow-up (SDF) for Purchase Requisitions (PR's) and Purchase Contracts (PC's).
Supports multiple Supplier Management Businesses (SMB's)/customers and works with several suppliers across multiple commodities such as Raw Material and Standards (RM&S), Build to Print (BTP), Commercial of the shelf (COTS), and Services within the Commodities and Services organization.

Direct experience in Supplier Management/ Procurement as a Purchasing Agent or Buyer.
Some experience working with suppliers.
Supply Chain experience.
Experience in a team-based environment.
Experience resolving errors between supply chain systems such as GOLD, Mechanized Spares Management System (MSMS) or Network Procurement (NWP).
This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. "US Person" includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Bachelor's or Master's degree and typically some related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Business/Supply Chain or other Procurement related discipline preferred.
