Job Description

Goal of the Production Controller is to act as FMU liaison to the Planning Department to ensure maximum production based on available assets and time allocated for all scheduled maintenance.  To flow work packages and production schedules in order to optimize efficiencies.

Essential Functions: 

  • Reviews prior RON work packages documentation and electronic tracking interface for accuracy prior to forwarding documentation to aircraft records.
  • Forwards completed work packages to aircraft records.
  • Produces all work packages and associated reference material for night of RON work.
  • Evaluates proposed work scopes to ensures assets (tooling, parts, skill sets, ...) are available for assigned work.
  • Works with planning and FMU Supervision to optimize work assigned based on available man-hours and assets available.
  • Maintains historical production data for analysis.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by FMU Manager.

 

 

Requirements
 

Minimum Requirements: 

  • Aircraft Maintenance background. (A&P required.)
  • Detail oriented.
  • Working knowledge of production flow processes.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and PMI.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • High School Diploma.
  • Must be flexible any given shift.

Preferred:  Bachelor Degree
