Job description

1. Assign work and oversee activities of warehouse employees with safety, quality, delivery, and cost as primary goals
2. Lead continuous improvement via lean initiatives, and facilitate the implementation of ideas; complete advanced Lean Principles training
3. Drive performance objectives in the areas of delivery, cost, quality, and safety, and assist team members in consistently achieving their specific goals
4. Build positive employee relationships based on defined measurable goals, open communication, and participative management
5. Develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal customers
6. Operate and/or oversee the management that ensures inventory accuracy is maintained over 98%
7. Troubleshoot process anomalies and inventory discrepancies
8. Monitor the proper and efficient material handling to ensure product traceability, adherence to quality requirements, and scheduling demands
9. Follow all procedures administered by safety, quality, process engineering and facilities engineering
10. Create a flexible workforce via training of personnel across manufacturing operations
11. Perform other duties as required

Candidate skills & requirements

1. Three years of experience in an inventory management position or previous Leadership experience
2. Demonstrated ability to train others
