SUMMARY The Assembly Technician I will build a variety of quality subassemblies using a variety of methods. Also provide technical direction, ensuring the correct procedures are followed in the manufacturing of AAR Composites products. Interacts directly with Technicians, Production Leaders, Quality Control and Engineers in the day to day activities related to production. -Able to perform all level II Assembly Technician requirements. -Instruct fellow Assembly Technicians, as required. -Consistently meet or exceed Budget and scheduled requirements. -Work independently, if required with limited supervision or as a team member. -Set goals and manage smaller jobs with little supervision. -Recognize, analyze and resolve routine problems. -Capable of building any type of assembly for one specified area. -Assist in training of other Technicians. -All other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Must have a minimum of 1 year related experience and/or training. - The individual must have a minimum of ten years experience in a related technical field. PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT The physical demands and work environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
