Job Summary: Responsible for maximizing warranty and insurance recovery efforts as part of the Supply Chain Warranty team. Develops, implements, maintains and improves Delta's warranty and insurance recovery programs. Leads warranty and recovery efforts in assigned areas with ability to forecast, understand and anticipate trends as they relate to warranty and insurance recovery. Participates in various internal and external meetings. Manages and promotes warranty recovery through comprehensive warranty awareness campaigns. Maintains technical knowledge for assigned equipment or business area. Prepares warranty information related to engineering orders and performance guarantees. Evaluates the causes and financial impact of equipment performance deficiencies, using engineering and financial project management skills. Negotiates warranty settlements with suppliers. Works closely with Supply Chain sourcing managers to develop warranty provisions for contracts and agreements. Practices safety-concious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures.



Job Qualifications: Bachelors degree in engineering, finance, supply chain management or other related field preferred. 2 to 5 years warranty administration, supply chain management or related maintenance/operational field experience preferred. Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) and/or A&P license a plus. Must possess strong communication skills and model Delta's vision and standards. Must be able to read, comprehend and apply contract language to ensure warranties and guarantees are applied correctly. Must be competent in research and analysis and proficient in negotiation, contract management, managing work and meeting with members of internal and external leadership. Must be innovative and able to optimize own capacity, demonstrate openness and self confidence, effectively manage interactions with others at all levels and be competent in building value-based relationships and exerting personal influence. Must be willing to accept and build accountability and exercise good judgment, working independently. Must consistently demonstrate integrity and respect for people and be committed to upholding ethical standards, generating shareholder value, challenging the staus quo, continuous improvement, excellence in performance and demonstrating deep appreciation for diversity. Must be a team player. Demanding work hours - flexibility required. Some travel may be required. Develops both strategic and tactical plans that create a safety-conscious environment resulting in employee safety and well-being.
