Scope of work is based in Red Oak, Texas with additional responsibilities in Arlington, Texas and Toronto, Ontario (Canada). Position leads work with direct and indirect employees and staff on various functional organizations with program authority to meet plans and program commitments. Role will include interface with senior program and company leaders at Triumph and peers and leaders from the customer.
Candidate needs to be a self-starter and not require constant oversight or guidance. Candidate needs to have demonstrated rationale decision making, positive communication to coordinate, integrate and lead people and teams, ability to produce and present status and metrics, and open to new challenges.
Responsible for ensuring success in meeting program Schedule, Cost and Technical goals for a major aircraft program with design, test, certification and production responsibilities. Role is a program manager position in a deputy role to address and manage engineering, production and supply chain functions. Role also includes implementing new or improved processes and establish best practices to support future programs. Responsibilities may require special focus in any given area for short periods to provide leadership if program focus is necessary. Also mentoring and coaching younger employees to develop future talent.
The successful candidate will typically have a bachelor's degree or equivalent with ten (10) years of experience. Masters in Business and PMP are a plus.
Preferred experience in program management, project leadership, project engineering, integration, Operations management and experience or exposure to one of the key functional areas supporting a new development program (engineering, planning, manufacturing engineering, industrial engineering, supplier management, operations).
