The Program Manager is responsible for timing, direction, and coordination of all aspects of assigned programs. Responsibility includes profit and loss management, financial analysis, risk management, and customer contact and interface.  Individual must have strong verbal and written communication skills and be comfortable giving oral presentations to peers and senior executives.  

  • Coordinates and monitors overall timing, scheduling, pricing and technical performance of assigned program(s).
  • Develops and presents status of assigned programs both internally and externally.
  • Assists in the negotiation of contracts and contractual changes.
  • Coordinates proposals, plans, specification and financial conditions of contracts with internal stake holders
  • Develops follow on business and new opportunities with the assigned customers to expand the product lines.
  • Ensures adherence to master plans, schedules and develops recommended solutions for program problems, opportunities and issues.
  • Reviews, reports, develop and implements recovery plans for off- schedule performance, financial issues, and unanticipated eventualities.  


  • 5 to 7 years proven Program Management experience required. Experience within an Aerospace Manufacturing environment preferred. PPM certificate is a plus.     
  • Experience of meeting program deadlines and successfully resolving program issues. Focus on customer satisfaction required.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing and processes required, preferably within an aerospace composites manufacturing environment. 
  • Lean and/or Six Sigma training/experience preferred. Knowledge of Risk Management preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Project, Excel and Word is required.
  • Proven work experience in the areas of Business Development, bid & proposals writing, Sales, and Contracts and Finance a plus.
  • Knowledge of FAR, DFAR and Export regulations a plus.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong project planning skills and ability to meet strict deadlines.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to lead teams.  
  • Travel requirements: 10-15%
  • If not local to Tampa Bay, FL area, must be open to relocation.
