Job Description

The Program Manager, Envoy Operations Strategy supports the operational teams at Envoy with the development of strategic initiatives for performance improvement. Reporting to the Managing Director of Operations Strategy and Performance, the position is responsible for the strategic identification and prioritization of opportunities, partnering cross-functionally to drive end-to-end business planning, and leading cross-functional execution.

Responsibilities include:

  • Act as an ongoing lead strategic planning and decision-making through industry analysis
  • Develop strong collaborative relationships with key stakeholders across the company
  • Provide strong problem solving leadership related to strategic focus and operational approach for emerging business initiatives
  • Break down opportunities into key components and design approaches to identify solutions
  • Run cross-functional working team meetings
  • Collect, analyze and synthesize external market/facts and data
  • Program manage select cross-functional initiatives
  • Lead the development and operational execution of multiple business plans and projects; monitor, report and course correct against milestones and deliverables
  • Prepare and deliver high-impact presentations to senior management around strategic evaluations, proposals and recommendations
  • Ensure business partners are well-informed of company strategies and priorities; educate key stakeholders and participants about strategic plan requirements and milestones
  • Provide on-going teaching and support to cross-functional partners that enable them to meet and exceed their objectives
  • Stay current with aviation industry trends
Job Requirements

The ideal candidate must be able to work with minimal supervision. Must be comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously and have a high skill set with organization and attention to detail.

Position Requirements

  • Minimum age: 18
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Experience in developing and analyzing business strategies and managing and executing projects and processes across business functions
  • Knowledge and experience with analytical tools such as Cognos, Tableau and Splunk
  • Highly proficient in Excel; experience building financial and sensitivity models
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Proficient in Powerpoint with the ability to craft presentations of key insights developed from analytical work
  • Must be able to travel for business domestically and internationally up to 25%
  • Must possess the legal right to work in the U.S.
  • Must be able to read, write, fluently speak and understand the English language


Position Preferences

  • Previous experience in the aviation industry

Additional Position Details

  • Candidates must fulfill a fingerprint based criminal background check to qualify for unescorted access privileges to airport security identification areas (SIDA), if applicable.
  • Candidates must be able to secure appropriate airport authority and/or US Customs security badges, in addition to clearing other airport related requirements, if applicable.
  • This position may be subject to the Department of Transportation (DOT). Federal law requires Envoy to determine an applicant's history of DOT drug and/or alcohol violation(s) or refusal(s) to test before hiring him/her into a safety-sensitive position.
