Project Management/Industrial Engineering Intern

The Business Transformation & Operations Organization is a strategic team within C&PS chartered to identify, execute and maintain Honeywell Aerospace wide business policy transformation, ensuring an unencumbered / touchless order to cash process resulting in a best in class customer experience. The Business Transformation & Operations Project Intern will support strategic projects through utilization of project management and process improvement techniques for critical business transformation improvement initiatives.

Role Expectations:

* Support identification of operational/organizational inefficiencies and develop recommendations/plans to improve
* Support business process mapping and data analytics to identify systemic business operations inefficiencies in order-to-cash processes
* Support implementation of common data quality philosophies and methodologies, creating metrics and deploying dashboards to monitor key performance indicators

* Coordinates changes to the business process or data flow across functions

* Support execution of project plans, objectives, timing, growth and savings
* Report and escalate to management as needed
* Maintain comprehensive project documentation
* Establish relationships and effectively influence functional stakeholders to drive accountability across Honeywell Aerospace

MUST HAVE:

* Pursuing BS degree in Industrial Engineering or related discipline
* Must be a US citizen or permanent resident, due to project requirements

WE VALUE:

* Completion of Junior year by summer 2018
* Prior internship experience with large corporation utilizing project management tools with demonstrated results
* MS Office proficient
* Strong analytical and leadership impact skills
* Experience setting & prioritizing goals
* Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
* Strong communication skillset, ability to communicate to multiple levels in the organization
* Competency in Six Sigma tools such as process mapping
* Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
