Aircelle Services Americas facility is located in Indianapolis, Indiana, bringing the company's expertise in maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) for its jet engine nacelles that are operational across North and South America. The 17,000-square-ft. MRO shop provides high quality, cost effective and reliable maintenance solutions matched to customers' needs, having started with Aircelle-manufactured nacelles for regional aircraft and business jets – and now expanding to nacelles for single-aisle and wide body airliners. Its area of responsibility covers the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Central and South America. In addition to metallic repairs, Aircelle Services Americas is specialized in composites work – which is particularly important with the increasing amount of composite materials utilized in jet engine nacelles.
Responsible for managing the Purchasing – Inventory functions at the Safran Nacelles Services Americas LLC MRO facility.
Review documents submitted by buyers for prospective vendors to ensure compliance with all requirements
Organize documents submitted by vendors at time of Purchase Order submission or delivery of goods
Resolve receiving error issues in database
Maintain ingredient costing file and pricelists
Provide non-inventory purchasing support including following established guidelines and procedures for non-inventory purchases and maintain preferred vendor list
Perform item master maintenance transaction in all appropriate databases and systems
Update Purchase Orders with current delivery information
Coordinate Product Change Notification Process
Oversee Receiving Standard Operating Procedure's by ensuring they are current to meet compliance requirements and verify they are being followed
Develop relationships with suppliers to resolve delivery and quality concerns and obtain documents
Issues supplies, materials, manually pre-picks stock items; completes all necessary paperwork for stock items issued
Receives delivered supplies, materials, confirms that delivered goods match purchase order for quantity, condition and completes all necessary paperwork
Utilizes EPICOR & SAP for issues, returns, receipts of materials inputs essential data on all materials handled
Conducts weekly cycle counts of inventory materials base
Travel is not required for this position.
