Thanks to their efforts, our global reach and our market-leading position, we do big things no one else can do.

Want to work in one of the most exciting industries in the world today? Consider how on the job experience as a co-op with UTC Aerospace Systems (UTAS) can complement your schoolwork. This is a chance to work alongside the aerospace industry's top people in some of the world's most technologically advanced facilities. It’s an exciting opportunity to take on challenging projects, integrate theory and practice, and further confirm your career choices within a highly stimulating culture. If you want to be a part of a global business that’s creating innovative solutions for the aerospace industry’s biggest customers, consider this your runway. All superstars start somewhere, are you ready to take off?

Play a dynamic role in our fast-paced Delivery Assurance team, where we deliver premium customer service support to our Pratt & Whitney customer across several jet engine platforms.

We are part of the Operations Department at UTAS, but are also considered key players in the Supply Chain Organization. Delivery Assurance means that our team is responsible for delivering product on time to our Pratt & Whitney customer to support jet engine manufacturing for both military and commercial programs. We are responsible for all levels of communication from beginning to end. In other words, we own the entire communication stream from the supply base for over 150 suppliers around the world, to internal UTAS communication, through the final customer interface. We interact with engineering, quality, contracts, and procurement teams at UTAS to ensure the customer priority is represented and that risks are mitigated for our supply base.

As a Delivery Assurance Co-Op, you will be supporting a Program Lead who is the front-line contact for our customer. You will have an opportunity to tune into the customer’s daily needs and inner operations, along with the supply chain hurdles. You will work with a team of Delivery Assurance Representatives to collect part status for our customer and identify risks to help our Program Leads breakdown barriers.

Qualifications Proficiency in Microsoft Excel needed. You must be enrolled in a university while interning at UTAS and available to work 40 hours a week.

Most co-ops either take a semester off, do an independent study program through their university, or take night classes while interning at UTAS. Co-op hours typically run between 8am and 4:30pm Monday-Friday. Most terms run for an 8-month period.
This posting is for a co-op position open early January 2018 through mid-August 2018.
Education Minimum GPA of 3.0; semester standing of AT LEAST Sophomore
