Job responsibilities of the Quality Assurance Auditor include but are not limited to auditing of internal Maintenance, Inspection, Training, Records, Technical Publications and other support departments to assure all work performed is in compliance with manuals and applicable regulations; auditing of  maintenance providers for compliance with existing publications, safety standards and applicable regulations; evaluating aircraft part suppliers to validate quality programs; maintaining vendor databases; other duties as assigned.
 
Qualifications:
  • College degree and/or 5 years related quality assurance auditing experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • C.A.S.E. Level III auditor preferred
  • A&P License  preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret federal regulations
  • Ability to read and interpret airline technical manuals
  • Excellent organizational, mathematical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to professionally communicate with internal and external associates
  • Travel required
  • Conduct all tasks in a safe and efficient manner complying with all local, state and federal safety and health regulatory requirements, programmatic standards, and with any internal policies and procedures identified by Sun Country Airlines
  • Qualified candidates must pass a criminal history background check
