This recruitment is for a full time Quality Assurance Inspector based in Palmer, Alaska. Salary is DOE. This position will report to the Chief Inspector in all matters related to the conduct of quality assurance operations for Hageland Aviation Services, Inc. The ideal candidate would possess the following:  Hold a valid A&P per FAR 65.71 and 65.73, with IA desired per FAR 65.91.  Five years’ experience on Cessna 207A, 208B aircraft with PA31-350 and BE1900C experience. SMS and SAS experience would be a plus.  Integrity and professional attitude, with ability to adapt to change and a proven track record for working with numerous personalities.  Strong supervisory and problem solving skills. Ability to multi-task and work independently while adapting to fluctuating workloads and priorities.  Ability to maintain and set high standards for accuracy in recordkeeping, and inspections of work performed within the maintenance department.  Experience and knowledge working with MS word, and Excel. Sinex Database experience is a plus. DUTIES AND RESPONSBILITIES:  Inspection of aircraft, engines, props, appliances and materials to assure that each conforms to the requirements of the company maintenance publications and CFR’s.  Inspection of aircraft, engines, props, components and appliances to assure that work performed upon them is in conformity with company maintenance publications, CFR’s and good standards of aircraft practices.  Ascertain that all routine and non-routine worksheets, tags and/or reports required for the completion of a job, or portion thereof, have been completed in accordance with the maintenance publications and the CFRs.  Ascertain that practices and procedures used by personnel involved in the maintenance and operation of company aircraft are in accordance with the requirements of the company manual and the CFR’s.  Perform audits pertaining to the requirements of the CASS system.  Inspect incoming parts to ensure they meet the purchase order or repair order requirements and are properly identified with serviceability tags.  Other duties as assigned.
