Leads integration of contractual and Boeing Quality Management System requirements into all aspects of Supplier Quality processes and documentation.
Develops and updates Quality metrics and Quality criteria to support supplier selection activities.
Analyzes purchase requisitions, contracts, and supplier Statements of Work, to understand and apply appropriate Quality requirements and clauses.
Provides explanation and interpretation of complex purchase contract Quality requirements to suppliers.
Leads site supplier quality activities to ensure that suppliers' production and quality systems, special processes, products and services meet purchase contract requirements and applicable regulatory agency and government regulations.
Executes business plans, policies and procedures, and develops technical strategies to improve supplier performance.
Works with available resources and leads supplier process improvements.
Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, and suppliers.
Leads various reviews to ensure quality attributes are incorporated into suppliers’ product designs.
Develops and selects methods for analysis, testing and audit to ensure manufacturing and test readiness.
Assists in development of new standard repairs for non-conformances. Analyzes non-conformance trends to evaluate effectiveness of corrective actions.
Develops and implements corrective actions.
Performs benchmarking and other forms of advanced analysis to ensure specified processes capability levels are achieved.
Provides Quality technical leadership and support to Receiving Inspection, Warehouse Operations, and other site Supplier Quality Engineers. Works under minimal direction.

This position requires an active (or ability to obtain) U.S. Security Clearance, for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.
Degree and typical experience in engineering classification: Bachelor's and 9 or more years' experience, Master's with 7 or more years' experience or PhD with 4 or more years' experience. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
5 or more years of experience working with Quality and Supplier Quality functions
3 or more years of engineering experience
Knowledge of international quality standards such as AS9100, ISO9001 or Nadcap requirements
Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings, process specifications and Quality Management System (QMS) documentation
Experience with statistical analysis and process control, Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) utilizing six sigma techniques, and familiarization of AS9100 standards
Experience validating compliance of inspected hardware to engineering drawings and/or process specifications
