POSITION SUMMARY

Advanced inspection of aircraft assembly activities and products for conformance with government and company standards and specifications. Using comprehensive knowledge to report deviations and support preventive and corrective actions analysis aiming the delivery of products and services at their highest quality to customers.

 

 

JOB RESPONSIBLITIES

  • Inspects the installation and operation of mechanical, electrical, electronic, hydraulic,
    pneumatic, fuel, oil, and emergency systems and other parts and equipment of aircraft.
  • Visually and physically inspects electrical installations.
  • Performs preflight and post flight inspections in accordance with standard procedure on flight-proven aircraft.
  • Inspects, adjustments, repairs, or modifications made on the aircraft.
  • May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.
  • Support training and orientation for newer, less advanced workers.

 

ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

 

Education:

  • Requires H.S. Diploma or GED.
  • Desired: A.S. degree in Aviation; A&P License

 

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5+ years of verifiable advanced experience and responsibility as an Inspector.
  • Desired: Prior Inspector work experience with aerospace quality systems that meet FAA requirements.

 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

 

  • Ability to understand procedures, acting in problem solving, suggesting improvements.
  • Ability to read technical documents and interprets the information - metric system
  • Ability to work in a safe professional manner adhering to all regulatory requirements including, OSHA, EPA, State and Federal regulations.
  • Understand procedures, acting in problem solving, suggesting improvements.
  • Safety and operating procedures for power-on aircraft
  • Application and use of precision measurement instruments and test equipment(s).
  • Attention to detail.
  • Employees will be subject to the random drug and alcohol testing under FAA regulations.
  • This employee is subject to an annual vision test.
