Basic Function:   Responsible for all station operations, within the designated region to include subcontractors.  Has authority to stop any operation he/she deems unsafe.  Provide supervision and oversight to all stations.

 

Qualifications:

  1. Direct understanding of station operations including above and below wing service, Federal, State, and local regulations as they relate to the region or airports.
  2. Experience in managing safety, security, operational programs and subcontractors associated with the aviation industry.
  3. Ability to write and manage staffing and budgetary programs for operational efficiencies.
  4. Understanding of state and community needs, operational limitations, ability to balance and communicate these issues.
  5. Facilitate growth of employees within the Company and the communities it serves.
  6. Ability to work independently and manage workloads using good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure that Stations are following Company policies, procedures and regulations.
  2. Enhance the standards of service inside the Ground Operations Division of the Company as performed by station personnel and its subcontractors.
  3. Ensure compliance with all federal, state and local airport regulations are met.
  4. Help create an atmosphere inside each Station that ensures Safety is always present in all functions and that employees recognize and are following the Company Safety through Compliance programs in all phases of their jobs.
  5. Work with Customer Service Managers on staffing, equipment and facilities issues to ensure that operational needs are meet.
  6. Coordinate with the training department, ensuring all training needs concerning security, above and below wing service are completed as mandated.
  7. Represent the Ground Services and Marketing Divisions by performing tasks as directed by the Vice Presidents of Ground Services and Marketing.
  8. Travel as needed to provide station assistance as warranted.
  9. Participate on Services conference calls when available.
