Role Summary:
Perform the tactical and strategic actions required to create a world class lean culture in the Rutland, Vermont plants. Seasoned and deep understanding and application of Lean concepts, approaches and methodology.

Essential Responsibilities:
Directly influence all levels of the organization to advance the Lean culture including but not limited to the following:
• Engage with and involve the production team members on shop floor to help drive lean (this includes listening, teaching and implementation)
• Function as internal consultant, holding individuals at all levels accountable to following the Lean process
• Lead and support action workouts
• Teach, coach, and mentor any/all employees at your plant on Lean tools
• Help team members implement lean initiatives
• Support KPO/team members leading AWO
• Be a positive representative to outside stakeholders
• Be a positive agent of change
• Help leaders develop and execute lead strategy and standards
• Collaborate with other lean leaders
• Communicate lean activities to highlight successes and needs for help
• Develop/mentor your KPO/Lean team
• Teach employees how/when to use lean tools
• Follow business Lean method to drive improvements
• Continue to improve Rutland’s performance on the GE Aviation Production System
• Coach, mentor and train others in the concepts and tools around process improvement
• Define processes, tools, trainings, value stream, etc. to be used by the manufacturing community.
• Present product / program strategies, technical roadmaps, risks and recommendations to senior leaders (EB and SEB) across GE.
• Communicates recommendations and solutions across direct organization and with crossfunctional partner organizations.
• Involved in complex decision making sometimes with external parties.

Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college. Minimum of 3 additional years of Lean manufacturing experience.

Desired Characteristics:
Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems. Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs. Established project management skills.
