Position Summary:

This intern will assist the Safety and Flight Operations departments in daily administrative tasks. If the intern is a pilot, they will complete a Basic Indoc class with a new hire group.

Duration: January 2018- April 2018 (depending on school schedule)

Application Deadline: December 5, 2017

Duties and Responsibilities:

Complete any necessary inter-office mail

Updating department publications library

Participate and take minutes in Safety meetings

Process WBAT reports

Assist in SMS reporting and data mining

Track and follow- up on mandatory SMS implementation tasks

Assist with Training Record keeping and filing

Assist with generating technical publications for distribution to the respective employee groups

Audit flight plans for accuracy for the Dispatch Department

Audit flight plan discrepancies and enter OOOI times and delay codes as necessary

Assist with minor OSHA and Emergency Response Plan tasks.

Assist with projects and assignments as necessary

Qualifications:

FAA Private Pilot and Instrument rating (if applicable)

Currently enrolled Junior or Senior in a collegiate aviation or aviation safety program

Minimum Cumulative GPA of 3.0
