Cathay Pacific Airways is looking for a dynamic and analytical individual to join our Sales Team.

Reporting to the Vice President, Marketing & Sales Americas, this role will evaluate and analyze large amounts of data on monthly performances and highlight potential market/revenue issues. Successful candidate will need to operate with minimal guidance while having ability to own end-to-end projects.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect and assemble large amounts of data on monthly performances using MIDT, PRISM, and Flown Revenue
  • Identify performance trends, highlight gaps across the USA in the main market shares, and distribute information to  Sales Directors for immediate action
  • Conduct ad-hoc studies for the Senior Vice President Americas and the Vice President, Marketing & Sales for potential new routes and newly identified market challenges
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement with a focus on providing solutions and delivering results
  • Assist with other reporting and conduct analysis as required

 

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Math, or related field preferred
  • Minimum 2+ years’ experience in data analysis
  • Expert knowledge of MS Suite
  • Knowledge of airline/travel management systems including MIDT and PRISM preferred but not required
  • Reputation for producing results and consistently meeting/exceeding business goals
  • Superior problem-solving, time management and organizational skills
  • Superior interpersonal and communication skills
  • Travel/Airline industry experience a plus
  • All persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States. No sponsorship for employment visa status is available for this position.
