The Sales Support Associate (SSA) provides full service and support to Sales and Marketing with a high level of accuracy and is considered the NetJets "Wikipedia" for those teams. The Sales Support Associate acts as a liaison between the Corporate Office and the outside Sales team. The Sales Support Associate is integral to the seamless transitioning of a prospect from inquiry to sales engagement through needs analysis, data capture, qualification and territory assignment. Ensures all inbound inquiries via the phone or the Web are answered in a timely and appropriate manner. Ensures accurate tracking of lead activity into the database.
The Sales Support Associate is the first point of contact for all prospect inquiries and issues. The SSA provides potential Owners with NetJets program information including company background, share, lease and Marquis Jet card details, while ensuring that all contact information is being captured during the conversation. Assesses private aviation needs by effective questioning and uses the information to engage the appropriate Sales Executive or Sales Consultant. Enter all leads into NetJets CRM and assigns appropriately for outside Sales team to take ownership for closing with NetJets. The Sales Support Associate manages a high volume of prospect and customer interactions via telephone and email which require a high level of tenacity. Provides ideas and feedback to Sales and Marketing management with regard to product pricing, etc. based on feedback from prospects. Executes and provides reporting to Sales and Marketing regarding lead handling, warm transfers and campaign responses providing insight into consumer responses and availability of consultants and executives regarding prospect follow-up. Represent NetJets at prospect and Owner events including but not limited to prospect and Owner check-in /greeting and event team support.
Continually maintains solid understanding and up to date knowledge on NetJets products and services, business development initiatives and current NetJets event opportunities. Provide communication to Sales team via e-mail, phone, and written documents. The Sales Support Associate is responsible for determining and verifying active Owner participation in the NetJets program by accessing Owner's account status, checking current flight and purchase activity and advising business development partners who provide additional benefits and services to NetJets Owners. Track Owners' redemption of partner benefits in SalesForce.com and field product and process questions from outside Sales and Marketing. Determine and coordinate best interaction with Owner Services, Finance and/or IT departments when necessary to gain more detailed answers.
Oversees opening and closing of the department insuring all technology is working correctly and all materials to be sent out are picked up as appropriate. Responsible for contacting the appropriate vendors when applicable to remediate issues. The Sales Support Associate is the internal knowledge expert for NetJets program information, lead capture, business development program information, and guides Sales Management in correctly identifying activity within the CRM system. Participates in hiring through group interviewing and role play assessment and training and developing of other team members.
The Sales Support Associate is the subject matter expert in creating and executing proposals for share, lease and card purchase and/ or trade based upon Owner/prospect needs. The SSA makes recommendations based upon current availability, knowledge of cost structure and contractual terms using NetJets Contract management system to assess current inventory. When needed, the SSA creates Owner reports such as annual usage; renewal balances using existing report templates and customizing when appropriate to compliment proposals and aid in the retention of existing Owners.
Handles additional projects including but not limited to individual prospect mailings, prospect and event RSVP's.
Course of Study/Major: Business Administration, Marketing or related field
Related Work Experience: 2-4 years
Detail oriented, organized, and conscientious.
A proven track record of teamwork and responsiveness is required.
Strong ability to interact clearly, effectively and use persuasion with prospects and convey a professional demeanor during all internal and external customer exchanges.
Strong work ethic, self-motivated, positive energy, personable personality and ability to develop relationships. Proficiency in use of CRM (Salesforce.com)
Excellent computer skills (EXCEL, Word, Outlook) and experience with internet research. Must be comfortable with Excel spreadsheets, tracking, and analysis.
Ability to handle confidential information.
