Delta Air Lines currently uses Salesforce technology in 10+ departments with additional company-wide growth expected. The Salesforce Center of Excellence (CoE) is currently in its infancy. Delta is looking for a candidate with strong Salesforce experience to join the CoE team to help guide and enable its success.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES IN THIS ROLE

Support the implementation, and success, of the Salesforce CoE at Delta
Work with business teams to understand their goals and provide technical recommendations that support system requirements and desired functionality
Create and present technical solutions and recommendations including when to configure versus customize
Be a trusted partner to the business groups that utilize the different Salesforce platforms (Sales, Service, Marketing, etc.)
Support and contribute to the development of processes and best practices pertaining to governance, integrations, data management, and API use
Provide Salesforce training to less experienced technical and business staff to help expand knowledge of Salesforce capabilities
Support documentation and communication efforts regarding CoE activities, Salesforce releases, new products and functionality, etc.
Participate in efforts to define and promote patterns and practices to grow Salesforce knowledge and maturity within the organization
Help to define and document system requirements and functionalities to support business-led Salesforce projects

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR? / WHAT EXPERIENCE DO YOU NEED?

5+ years of CRM implementation or Salesforce experience
Direct experience with Salesforce application design, architecture, and development
Experience migrating to the Lightning Experience from Salesforce Classic
Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies (Agile, SCRUM, RUP, other)
Ability to listen to customers and colleagues; convey ideas effectively; prepare written documentation
Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Pardot is a plus
Ability to work with business partners to develop clear requirements and create technical diagrams conveying integration best practices
Get most value out of Salesforce; experience with data management and ability to make recommendations; experience implementing data management strategies
Ability to clearly communicate with peers, business analysts, and subject matter experts

WHAT ELSE?
