Delta Air Lines requires an SAP Business Analyst to work in a high paced, dynamic environment. This person will play an important role in helping to define and execute an SAP framework and also provide analysis/functional expertise in SAP. You will possess strong analytical skills and the ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.

- Partner with HR business teams through the lifecycle of an SAP HCM/SuccessFactors implementation, and ensure high quality delivery of software.
- Support the blueprinting process, gathering customer requirements and expectations. Map current state processes to future state business processes identifying technology gaps.
- Assist customers in the development of processes and procedures which leverage HCM solution functionality being deployed.
- Execute system testing and provide guidance on user acceptance testing. Participate in defining automation test objectives, strategies, infrastructure and standards.
- Collaborate closely with development team, testing products through entire release cycle.
- Develop positive relationships with the customer team.
- Use knowledge of customer's business and industry to assess findings and shape solutions.
- Speak to a variety of customers from different departments, at different levels and in large or small groups (e.g. customer project manager, technical team).
- Make independent judgments within own area of competence.
- Provide progress information and escalate project issues to the project manager to help ensure deliverables are on time and within budget.
- Successfully execute tasks and activities at all project phases and build an exemplary track record in providing customer satisfaction.
- Provide Level 3 support, consult on and create batch jobs, develop minor enhancements and resolve/coordinate break-fix issues.
- Ensure all processes are in compliance with Delta's policies and procedures, including SOX, PCI, and data retention processes
- Practices safety-conscious behavior in all operational processes and procedures.


- At least five years of experience in business analysis or project management in the SAP realm
- 3+ years of experience in SAP HCM modules
- Experience working on complex SAP landscape with integration to disparate operationally critical systems
- Experience implementing Success Factors solutions
- Strong data analysis skills
- Strong analytical and project management skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts as the liaison between business units, technology teams, and support teams
- Ability to collaborate with many teams including networking, security, middleware, and development and operations support groups to efficiently and effectively deliver operational excellence
- Ability to successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously
- Experience with I.T. standard processes and procedures is required
- Enthusiasm to proactively coordinate and take action within a team environment
- Energetic customer-facing and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work independently as well as under the direction of project managers
- Must be a self-starter with strong personal pride
- Must be performing satisfactorily in current position
- 3+ years of experience with process improvement methodologies preferred
- Hands-on development experience on SAP platform is a plus
