SAP Business Process Manager is responsible for managing a team that addresses the design, development, implementation, training, process optimization, standardization, and ongoing support of business software solutions in the enablement of successful Supply Chain operation. This position will serve as an internal center of excellence for Supply Chain function and requires extensive business process knowledge and practical SAP experience. Related support activities to include: •SAP Material Management •SAP add on tools •Purchasing Master Data •Various purchase order types – discrete, scheduling agreements, sub-contract orders, rework •Replenishment strategies, Kanban, direct ship, vendor and supplier managed inventory •Working knowledge of Supply Chain reporting •Supplier portal experience •Procurement Compliance Responsibilities •Manage the development, enhancement and adoption of business applications in support of internal Supply Chain functions, including SAP. •Improve SAP utilization and effectiveness within all UTAS value streams. •Analyze complex SAP business process issues/opportunities and develop solutions within SAP. •Foster sustained adoption of solutions and best practices throughout the organization. •Leverage new and existing technologies in the enablement of improved business performance and adoption of industry best practices. •Partner with key stakeholders to translate business necessities into practical applied solutions across UTAS platforms. •Develop, standardize and maintain standard job instructions (SJI’s) to support value stream departments. •Develop internal and external customers through training and technical assistance as required to develop users within the Supply Chain value stream. •Manage interface between UTAS sites, Axon, Accenture, and the Service Delivery Team while acting as an Supply Chain Functional Forum and Council member or backup. •Facilitate special initiatives in support of divisional objectives (i.e., new plant’s LCC’s, organizational changes, new products, etc.). •Participate in Lean initiatives and support all ACE events as required. •Other related duties as assigned.

Qualification: •Experience in a manufacturing environment working with direct production materials required. •Strong functional background and demonstrated knowledge of related business processes with an emphasis on materials management required. •Proven track record of driving sustained adoption of implemented solutions, resulting in quantifiable business results. •Minimum 3 years of purchasing/materials experience with increasing level of responsibility strongly preferred. Skills Required: •Material planning experience. •Practical knowledge of SAP add on tools is a plus. •Strong business analytical skills and the ability to solve complex business problems by using information technology and business intelligence software. •Demonstrated skills in creative thinking, problem solving and decision making. •Excellent verbal and written communication skills. •Deadline and project-oriented with strong organizational skills and multi- tasking skills. •Understanding of how to tools and end user techniques of the SAP application areas and application to the business process to provide effective training and communications. •Strong, demonstrated commitment to customer service and pro-active review of processes and procedures to enhance the SAP and supplier portal user experience. •Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical customers. •Strong project, organizational, presentation and written skills. •Demonstrated ability to function as a member of a geographically diverse team. •Goal oriented with strong attention to detail. •Demonstrated experience in an ERP system, SAP strongly preferred. •Strong PC and Microsoft Office skills. •Ability to interface and influence at all levels of the organization.
Education: BS/BA degree in Business or related field required.
