Job Description

Reporting to the Manager, Crew Scheduling, responsibilities of Flight Crew Schedulers includes, but are not limited to:

  • Ensure that flights operated by Company have the proper crew compliment and that crews operate in accordance with applicable Federal Aviation Regulation, union agreements, and company policies
  • Notify crew members of schedule changes in a timely and effective manner
  • Make adjustments to crew members schedules using a computerized crew scheduling system
  • Perform other duties as assigned/required
  • High School Diploma or equivalent. College degree preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively with crew members, crew schedulers and other OCC team members
  • Possess excellent listening skills, ingenuity and initiative
  • Ability to analyze and solve scheduling problems in a timely manner
  • Be a self-starter who can work without supervision and under pressure
  • Be a proven team player, demonstrating the ability and willingness to take on additional responsibilities as needed
  • Must be able to work days, nights, weekends and holidays
