Senior Account Manager

The Senior Account Manager role is promote, sell and retention of customers in an assigned territory by establishing, developing and maintaining business relationships with current and prospective customers in the assigned territory/market segment that generates new and incremental business / revenue from existing and new products and services.
•Analyze the territory/market’s potential and determine the value of existing and prospective customer’s value
•Create and manage a customer value plan highlighting profile, market share and opportunities
•Plan and organize personal sales strategy by maximizing the Return on Time Investment for the territory/segment.
•Research sources for developing prospective customers and for information to determine their potential revenue by product type
•Develop clear and effective written estimates/quotations for current and prospective customers
•Coordinate sales effort with marketing, sales management, accounting, logistics and technical service groups
•Supply management with oral and written reports
•Keep abreast of market conditions, competitive activities, in all product and service areas.
•Potential to represent the company at National, Regional and Local trade shows and conferences
•Consultative approach for joint understanding of processes and buying behaviors
•Understand the external customer requirements, identify and correct process gaps
•Some college courses in related field
•5-7 years’ experience in account prospecting/selling environment required. Experience in aviation a plus
•Highly organized and detail orientated
•High energy level and positive attitude
•Proven track record of quota attainment
•Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks
•Strong written and verbal skills (for internal as well as external use)
•Experience selling aviation services is a plus
