Position Title: Senior Analyst Airport Business Planning (Sr. Analyst - FP&A, Airport Operations)
Position Summary

The Senior Analyst will assist Airport Leadership and Finance in developing and reviewing departmental results, forecasts, and budget. The Senior Analyst will identify models and recommends ideas pertaining to financial risks and opportunities within the business, leveraging the Airports Team as well as cross-functional relationships. The Senior Analyst will also provide support on ongoing projects, business case development and communications within the division. The Senior Analyst coordinates across airports and with other departments with the intent of executing goals successfully and proactively mitigating risks.

Essential Responsibilities
•Proactively prepares business cases in support of Airport initiatives and provides forecasted benefits using spreadsheet or simulation modeling
•Identify, lead and report on revenue generating and cost saving initiatives through complex financial modeling
•Understand impact of investment decisions on departmental and company-wide financials
•Determine the impact of Airport Services contract renewals on departmental financials
•Determine root cause of operational and financial inefficiencies and recommends process improvement
•Develops presentations and analysis for department leaders on an ad hoc basis.
•Conducts business and financial analysis associated with departmental projects, initiatives, and budgeting; including data collection, data mining, analysis and auditing.
•Update and improve current financial models and databases, including short and long-term forecasts
•Track weekly and monthly performance metrics and budget variances to help leadership assess overall health of the department
•Ensures success of the Airport Staffing Supply Chain by working with members of each department responsible for a component of the Airport front line headcount process
•Assist station leadership by advocating for resources where required and providing guidance/decision support
•Builds and fosters relationships with internal and external Customers. Work alongside and communicate effectively with different groups and organizational levels across JetBlue
•Other duties as assigned

Minimum Experience and Qualifications
•Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Operations or related analytical field
•Three (3) years of analytical or related experience
•Distinctive problem solving and analytical skills combined with business judgment and the ability to communicate with senior leadership
•Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
•Strong capabilities with Microsoft Office Products: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
•Pass a ten (10) year background check and pre-employment drug test
•Legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located

Preferred Experience and Qualifications
•Previous airline experience
•Fluent in Spanish
•Self-starter who is eager to participate and contribute in teams
•Trains and assigns work to Crewmembers on an occasional basis; performs the same work as the group on a regular basis

•Regular attendance and punctuality
•Potential need to work flexible hours and be available to respond on short-notice
•Well-groomed and able to maintain a professional appearance
•When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable crewmembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft
