Responsible to provide timely, relevant and accurate analysis of operational and business data inclusive of NetJets North America, NetJets Europe, NetJets China and Executive Jet Management. Perform business and operational analysis to impact global business results and support Senior Management (C-suite) decision making. Individual is expected to investigate and understand diverse areas of the business and operation (e.g. maintenance, sales, flight operations, aircraft management, labor relations), support Executive leadership initiatives and communicate findings effectively. Analyst expected to work under general supervision and provide leadership and direction on complex and diverse projects.


60%: Performs analysis of both strategic and tactical business and operational questions working independently with reliance on creative analytical curiosity. Analysis of data involves highly complex business and operational opportunities. Consultatively collaborates with business partners (e.g. IT, FP&A, crew resource planning) to analytically explore business and operational problems, develop reports, track and understand operational issues. Develops reports and creates presentations for Executive leadership exploring business and operational opportunities and recommends solutions.

20%: Collaborate with, mentor, develop and support other analysts

20%: Lead special analytical projects preparing detailed and comprehensive presentations supporting corporate initiatives.

Required Qualifications: 
Education Level: Bachelor's Degree 

Course of Study/Major: Applied Math, Economics, Statistics or other quantitative field
Related Work Experience: 4-6 years

  • Ability to clearly and effectively communicate to all levels of employees and management.

  • Must be detail oriented with a proven ability to prioritize multiple objectives in a dynamic environment with constantly shifting priorities.
  • Initiative, drive, and confidence to achieve results without explicit direction or detailed instructions
  • Experience with SQL, Excel, SAS and/or other business intelligence and analytics software
  • Interest and familiarity with aviation preferred 

    Desirable Qualifications: 
    Educational Level: Master's Degree 

    Course of Study/Major: MBA or MS in Analytics, Operations Research or similar discipline preferred 
    Work Experience: 6-8 years
  • Experience using query tools such as Hyperion/Brio Intelligence, Business Objects, Microsoft Access or experience using SQL to extract information from databases
  • Experience with report writing software
  • Use of Hadoop, Pig, Hive or other "Big Data" software
  • Knowledge of machine learning tools
  • Interest and familiarity with aviation
· Familiarity with NetJets core competencies including, but not limited to, flight scheduling, crew scheduling, crew planning, maintenance planning & execution, sales, and owner service.
