|Title||Senior Analyst Operations|
Provide statistical analyses related to operational performance along with comparisons to the competition. Build cross-functional partnerships with Business Intelligence team to deliver and refine analytic solutions in a flourishing business environment. Support critical operational, and/or strategic planning decisions. Engage in supporting project teams in ad-hoc activities that generate practical solutions to drive performance.
Proactively Provide Ad-hoc Analyses to Improve the Operation: Convey ad-hoc analyses on operating trends relating to on-time performance, departure delay trends, fleet launch delays, and other operational metrics that drive performance.
Deliver Suitable Analysis to Improve Operational Performance: Provide daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly analyses by comparing operational performance metrics to other airlines in accordance to the reporting requirements of the Department of Transportation.
Pre-emptively Collaborate with Business Intelligence Team to Automate Operational Reporting: Work in partnership with BI team to proactively create operational reports to decrease the manual process in a thriving business.
Uphold Exceptional Relationship with Business Intelligence team: Oversee the development and delivery of reporting, strategic insights, and recommendations to support the business intelligence teams’ accuracy and improvements to operational reporting.
Provide For Operational Performance Transparency: Deliver detailed performance analysis on a station and system level to increase awareness of operational performance against established goals and providing detailed analyses to support operational decisions.
Maintain Station Performance Scorecards: Distribute analyses on monthly performance metrics to determine station commission allocations and provide visibility on a station controllable level to improve manageable delay performance.
Afford Outstanding Business Partner Relationships: Clearly communicate operational analyses and analytic concepts and insights to external audiences across a quarterly period.
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work-related experience in airline industry; MBA or graduate degree in a business related field preferred.
Skilled in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Power Point, including knowledge of pivot tables, functions, regression analysis, etc.
Exceptional written and verbal communication and excellent presentation skills.
Ability to provide accurate analysis under pressure and has strong organizational skills to prioritize work and complete assignments.
Coordination with operational departments to ensure consistency.
Adaptability to changing business environment and brand.
Works well with upper management and officer status, not intimidated and gets the job done with confidence.
